Alex Ferguson hates England
Tue, February 28th 2006
Alex Ferguson has offered Trinidad & Tobago captain Dwight Yorke the opportunity to train with Manchester United prior to the World Cup.
Trinidad & Tobago will play England in the group stage on 15 June.
With Ferguson regularly playing two of England’s potential star players (Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney) out of position in midfield, could it be his deliberate intention to spoil England’s World Cup chances?

Only a complete moron would suggest that Ferguson’s got it in for England. If folk are worried about Yorke getting the goods from a simple kick about they can’t have much faith in the team to meet whatever’s thrown at it. As for Ferguson’s comments re Rooney, the boy has an extremely serious foot injury that simply won’t be cured in time. These things happen, so get over it. You wouldnt put a racehorse back on the track before a bad injury was fully healed, so there’s no point in expecting miracles. Whoever heard of a one man team anyway?
